April

April in Minnesota is much like April anywhere else in the upper Midwest. Soggy and wet. We were fortunate enough to sneak a few pictures out of this month. Take a look.

This picture was taken in early April from our property which we purchased the previous summer. It's a cozy six acres adjoining county land about three miles south of Two Harbors, MN. You can see our "Sort-of" lake view that we have on a clear day from December through May. Once the leaves are on the trees there really isn't much to see (nothing a day with a chainsaw can't fix!)

This is a picture of the small lake along the St. Louis River near Jay Cook State Park. The snow and ice are mostly gone. Spring isn't too far off!

Here is a picture of my lovely bride. We spent this April day touring the iron range and exploring. It was a bit wet but we had fun anyhow.
